I.W. Tremont Expands Capabilities with Acquisition of Filter Holdings, Inc.
HAWTHORNE, NJ — July 24, 2025 — I.W. Tremont Co., Inc., a leading U.S. manufacturer of specialty filtration products, is pleased to announce the strategic acquisition of the complete assets of Filter Holdings, Inc. (FHI), a premier provider of sewn filter products with deep expertise in industrial and life science applications.
This acquisition significantly expands I.W. Tremont’s operational footprint to two New Jersey-based facilities and adds a complementary portfolio of products, materials, and expertise. Importantly, all Filter Holdings employees will be retained, reinforcing Tremont’s commitment to continuity, talent, and domestic manufacturing.

The transaction was completed with legal representation by Cohn Lifland Pearlman Herrmann & Knopf LLP and accounting advisory from Polcari & Co., Certified Public Accountants.
