Faster Ship Times for Custom Sewn Filters: Filter Holdings First Quarter 2025 Update

Customers depend on FHI for high quality sewn filters, and we know that our OEM buyers, distributors, and end-users love it even more when they get those parts as fast as possible. We’ve announced in the past an update to our standard Terms and Conditions for 2025 which included an 8 week standard lead time, and we’ve also discussed our previous investment in manufacturing capacity.

With March 31, 2025 now behind us, and with a full quarter complete under a new approach to satisfying customers quickly with the highest quality parts – we’re excited to announce that we’ve had weekly shipments as fast as 19 days in work week 14!

For orders shipped from March 31 to March 4, FHI averaged 19 days from the time the order was placed until the product was shipped. That trend has only improved over Q1, with work week 12 (March 17 – March 21) showing 24 days.

“It’s clear our asphalt and asphalt OEM customers appreciate the faster lead times,” said Ed Kemp, Product Manager for FHI’s industrial bag filters, which include aramid products for construction and the company’s StackPro(TM) brand. “It’s crucial bags be on site in a timely fashion when change outs need to happen.”

This isn’t always possible – sometimes raw material availability, especially for specialty products on our life science side of the business, can take longer to arrive. This is especially true for FHI bespoke products like 1888ii. Demand continues to be volatile, and we do see occasional surges in interest – especially as tariff conversations continue to escalate.
