What is StackPro™?

StackPro™ is a brand of filter bags used in bag houses manufactured by Filter Holdings, Inc. (“FHI”) in Union, New Jersey. Since 1945, FHI and its predecessor businesses have serviced the construction industry with the highest quality filter products, made in America, and available with short lead times. StackPro™ incorporates all of the decades of filtration innovation under one umbrella term, making it easy for customers to know that they’re getting the best for their construction site dust collection needs – be that for asphalt, concrete, cement, or aggregates.

“What is happening to FHI’s current products?”

We will still sell them as we’ve always done – we will do so under the name of ‘Summit Original’ – in honor of the legacy Summit Filter business.

“I’m a bag house OEM, is StackPro™ available to me?”

Yes! For any and all of the bag house makers who currently purchase from FHI, you are absolutely eligible to work with the StackPro™ product line or continue to work with the Summit Original line of products.

“I’m a distributor, is StackPro™ available to me?”

Yes! One of our many goals in releasing this new brand was to provide a crisp and clear way for customers to remember what they need – by ordering StackPro™ they get all the great after market improvements that FHI already provides, but now it can be ordered easily under one new trade name.

“What is different about StackPro™ that I buy today in 2025 than what I bought from FHI last time?”

As of now – not that much. We’ve got a great new logo and we expect to roll out more branded products for other markets soon. StackPro™ uses the same high performance filter media from the same vendors that FHI has always worked with. We use the same great team of sewers and produce from our site here in Union, NJ. FHI has made huge improvements in plant capacity and quality over the past two years which allows us to continue to serve the growing market for construction bag filters. It even allows us to keep up with cold season demand as asphalt plants enter winter maintenance and change out season. 

“What fabrics and media are available for use in StackPro™?”

All the same great fabrics, felts, media, membranes and material you’ve purchased from FHI before are still available under the StackPro™ brand.

“Is StackPro™ made in America?”

All StackPro™ products are produced and sewn at our site in Union, New Jersey. The majority of the fabrics and felts used for StackPro™ products are sourced in the United States. 

“I’m a Life Science customer, does StackPro™ impact me?”

FHI’s current life science products – fluid bed dryers, materials handling, micronization, collection bags, and other specialty products for pharmaceutical / nutraceutical production are not part of the StackPro™ branding activity. We will continue to sell the Shaffer product line that has been helping customers in API and OSD production since 1945.
